The Netherlands Consulate General in São Paulo represents, promotes and protects the interests of the government of the Netherlands, as well as those of Dutch nationals in Brazil. The Economic Team of the Embassy deals with Economy, Trade, Investment, Innovation and Agriculture between the Netherlands and Brazil, and assists Dutch companies looking for market opportunities.
Furthermore, Brazil is a focus country in the Dutch international cultural policy. The cultural cooperation between the Netherlands and Brazil is focused on greater appreciation for the intrinsic and social significance of culture, the importance of exchange and the connecting role of culture and support for cultural diplomacy worldwide. ‘The Liveable City’ is the overall theme for our cooperation with Brazil. Our efforts are aimed at knowledge sharing, talent development & co-creation and the promotion of cross-sectoral, creative solutions by the Dutch cultural sector.
