Creating exchange centers for the exchange of waste by paying the equivalent amount to a Universal Electronic Card.

Long description

Based on the philosophy “If you got it full, return it empty” we have developed the Cadenas de Valor (Value Chains) project, in which the composition of the waste has been selected, 24 types of materials that their market value can be recovered from point of generation, leaving seeing these materials as waste and seeing them as a resource. The materials will have an agreed price between the recycling industry, the exchange centers and the Government of the City. These products can be exchanged at the exchange centers that will be located at subway stations, bus terminals, parks, shopping centers, markets and public places, where citizens can take their products generated at home, obtaining benefits through the exchange of these materials both environmental and economic through a Universal Electronic Card, which will be paid the equivalent to the amount of material exchanged. Making this an economic-environmental project with public policies that encourage separation and recycling. Thus, the industry will be able to acquire a greater amount of waste in a cleaner concept, which they will be able to dispose of and transform in their industries.

With this project it is estimated that of 8.040 tons/day that the City sends to landfill, only 3.7 thousand tons/day will be sent, achieving this tonnage by subtracting the separation of organic waste, those of other entities and the Cadenas de Valor (Value Chains) project, benefiting the citizenship with an improvement in the environment and the Government of the City with the decrease in spending.
