Desembolsa connects people with taquerias with the main goal of reducing the amount of solid wastes produced by this type of businesses.

Long description

Desembolsa is a Social innovation project that under a System-Service-Product scheme pretends to form a social enterprise with environmental, economical and social interests adapting critical and sustainable focuses to the eating tacos experience.

The system begins empathizing with taquerias and identifying nocive practices, creating a strategy that manages the use and wear of required utensils explaining in detail the role of the taquerias within the service and the costs/benefits relationship and finally inviting them to be part of it.

People in vulnerable situation who decided be part of the company will be recruited, will receive orientation of how sanitize cookware and detailed notifications of the businesses that request their service and are close to their homes, gathering dirty utensils and delivering clean ones in parallel quantities, using a hermetic container that will facilitate the transportation and keeping them sanitized, so when they return to their homes they must wash the ones they had collected and after that stay alert for future solicitations and being remunerated economically by all the washed utensils.

Commensals who come to the taquerias will consciously separate their waste supported by identifiable trash cans. On their check will be added a fee based on the number of dirty utensils they used during their visit.

The associated taquerias will assertively handle the waste generated after the working day, connecting with the sanitary department that will help us take them to one of the 12 existing transfer stations in the city for their use and final disposal.
