• 80% of total food in kenya is produced by smallscale farmers in rural villages.due to high dependance on rainfed farming ,market influx helps periodically.2/3of total horticultural produce during these season goes to waste,smallscale farmers live in absolute poverty.in rural villages,food are aggregated by brokers for marketing which takes long time.to limit transport cost,brokers wrong pack&over pack freshfarm produce making those accessing market in Nairobi to have very low selflife&expensive for slum dwellers.8million kenyans are suffering from MicroStarvation with the number rising to 18million during extended dryspell which unfortunately we as farmers also suffers.
  Dry-to-go design&make innovative mobile, offgrid ,semiautomated solar drier system which have ability to use direct sun during the day&still remain active during extended night&cloudy days using phase change material in its interior design&enternal battery .we offer for hire mobile drying services to poor aggregated farmers in rural villages at a cost of ksh4/kg.these a value based costing considering the cost of producing 1kg is ksh15.our drying is conservative meaning the dried food has the same nutritional value as in natural food.being mobile,we move to rural villages where others doesn’t acess , apart from drying,we pack&brand dried food which we are seeking certification to allow our farmers to have unlimited acess to market without further regulations.we envision to be the 1st ever mobile food drying company.our dried food have long selflife low wastage and ,easily transported to Nairobi slums where fresh food is too expensive and less available.
