We propose to use of smart energy solutions for energy saving of wind turbines and energy management with preserving the historical Building

According to Metropolitan Region Amsterdam, we should be preserved the historical Buildings of the city and provide sustainable energy for all customers. So, we cannot construct new power plant and transmission lines. Energy management based on smart solution is the best idea to achieve these goals.

Smart Energy Solution is an area of rapidly growing interest among today’s utilities. Many utilities moving ahead to make Smart Energy Solutions (such as smart metering and etc.) an initial step toward the “SMART GRID” of tomorrow.

According to Amsterdam topology we have to save and storage energy of wind turbines (offshore wind turbines) by electrical energy storages for critical condition in power grid. In other hand, we should be preserved the historical infrastructure of city, so, we propose the new technical and special architecture to implementation of our idea as following steps:

  • Energy storage system installation in generation units and customers
  • Smart meters installation in all customers and generation units
  • Provide the central control system for gathering, storage, monitoring and management of data
  • Data exchange between customers and central control system by communication interfaces

In the next step, we use the incentive plan for all customers and generation units.

Scope of this idea:

  • Preserving of historical infrastructure of Amsterdam
  • Energy supplying for all customers with using of renewable and clean energy

  • Improving of reliability
  • Reducing of maintenance and operation cost
