80% of total food in kenya is produced by small scale farmers,due to high dependance to urban wholesale distribution model which involve brokers,martket is more based on visual appearance .40% of total produce is deselected due to shape,size and colour despite being safe and consumer eating them as small chopped size.selected food takes long to reach slum market and when they arrive,they are too expensive for locals to afford.they transport also makes them unsafe for consumption.smallscale farmers earns too low with most overspraying or using sewer line to grow big appealing food.inua slice foods aggregate,buy,slice,brine and conservatively by unsalable fresh farm produce from rural areas which are directly delivered to urban slums as affordable,save, fresh food.through these,we reduce wastage in farm and ensure quick direct delivery of food in slum.by conservative packaging,food delivered to slums reduces wastages and need of unfresh energy intensive(more vehicle) food from urban wholesale.slum retailers also reduces number of travel and taxi(tuk tuks and boda) rounds to go and scramble for expensive food in market.
