Long description

In this project, a program has been developed and designed to solve the following.

1. Automatic time-based feeding which is highly efficient and time saving to the owner/farmer.
2. Automatic disinfection of poultry house at timed intervals in order to prevent dangers of airborne diseases.
3. Automatic water supply through drinkers and nipples which ensures that there is no wastage of water and also no splashing water inside the cage or in the feeding tray.
4. Automatic lighting system at night to allow for feeding on demand.
5. Ease of manure collection and disposal.
6. Can use 12v battery 200AH for powering it and also mains power supply through a 12v step-down d.c supply.
7. Eggs are counted by the system and value stored in the memory card with time stamps inside the main controller which can be retrieved and analyzed in Excel.
8. Amount of feed consumed can also be computed and saved in the memory card together with their respective timestamps which can be read out in excel.

Shows /displays alarms when the feed level goes below a certain level in order to be filled.

Having stated some of the main advantages of the system as shown above to the customer/poultry keeper, let’s understand how the project works.   The system has a touchscreen for operation monitoring and adjusting of various parameters. Like date and time, time settings for feeding, disinfection, water supply, lighting, changing password and egg count settings. All these are done by the customer/owner. It is simple to understand and operate.
