Our vehicles are real, road legal electrical vehicles, and have designed to be very capable in terms of speed, acceleration, range and load capacity with class-leading safety features. Mellowcabs have been designed to be very safe and extremely visible, and to offer optimum advertising space on an aesthetically pleasing design. They will typically operate in a limited urban radius of 3-4 km, and will not compete with other transport systems such as trains, buses, but rather feed into and complement existing networks. The Mellowcabs integrated system aims at implementing an innovative Electric Vehicle platform, with various ICT tools designed to effectively bridge actors from the value creation ecosystem. • First and last mile connectivity to public transport: light electric vehicle services, integrated as a feeder mode providing such connectivity, can complement public transport systems by ensuring that all parts of the city have easy access to public transport stations. • Door-to-door transport alternative to private motor vehicles: The door-todoor on-demand service provided by auto-rickshaws will ensure that transport needs requiring door to-door connectivity, such as occasional trips to the airport or emergency trips for health care, can be met in cities without having to rely on private motor vehicles. • Light electric vehicle services in cities can help promote public transport usage and reduce private motorization.
