Smart Energy Storage to clean up Amsterdam

The focus of Skoon is to deploy smart energy storage for mobile and/or temporary applications. By offering batteries in a standard size 20-foot container, it can be used on ships, festivals, film sets, electricity grids, etc. It can be applied to deliver peak power demand or as a replacement of fossil-fuel based energy sources. With a capacity of 1.6-2MWh, it can deliver enough power to an event of three days, a ship sailing for 12 hours or a neighbourhood for a month. Connecting this to our digital platform, we will give a good insight in energy use and possible improvements in energy efficiency.
