Stick Around (Vale Morar Perto) was conceived to improve the mobility of the city of São Paulo by enabling people to live close to work

Long description

All team members have a strong connection with the city of São Paulo as the place we have chosen to live, to work, to study, or to spend our free time. Altogether, we have spent more than a century in São Paulo. Some of us where born here, others not, but we all have to cope with complex mobility challenges in our daily routine that consume our time and our health. The social cost* of the time spent on traffic in the city of São Paulo by people who go to work is around R$ 7 billion per year, considering an estimated hourly cost of R$14,88 per person. Moreover, on average, the travel time has increased by 33%, and that affected 89% of all these trips. On the other hand, we also share the belief that creative design and technology can solve most of those challenges. And we all envision a better city, where mobility is no longer a problem, but the solution to other urban challenges such as reducing air pollution and raising and citizens quality of life… Team members: Alexandra Rat, Christian Ullmann, Fabiane Zambon, Henrique Drumond, Miki Ojima, Tatiana Alcantara
