Long description

In the process of rediscovering ours ancient cultural practices we realize that food security and food production is not  new under the sun.

With the help of written literature of their practices we combine modern agricultural practices with traditional techniques that are fit to give us sustainable solutions to ensure we curb food insecurity.

Our solutions are based on partnership to achieve the sustainable development goals.

1. PIER AGULU:a mobile app that interfaces as a traditional food menu and cookbook that allows the community to rediscover indigenous food crops that offer nutrients and enables them to estimate the amount of food and energy required to prepare them as well as preserving methods.

The app focuses on responsible food production and consumption .And is the main solution among others.

2. Nyumba ya mumbi : A program that focuses on offering asset finance as well as training to potential urban farmers as way of curbing food security by them practicing subsistance farming as well as including them in the supply chain in the long run in order to increase their income.
