Large developing metropolis, such as SP, present numerous economic opportunities, but they also create diverse challenges. High concentration of businesses and competition increases stress, traffic jams, and air pollution. They also consume families’ energy and quality time, to a great extend, wasted inside cars, overcrowded public transport or in long queues that connect different locations and means of transport.

To compensate this unhealthy lifestyle, those who can afford it either travel to the coast of São Paulo during holidays – creating record-breaking traffic jams, or take their families to fun places such as amusement parks in order to spend some quality-time in a stress-free environment. But what if city centres are no longer intimidating, having fun becomes part of our daily routine, and cooperation, instead of competition for space and time, rules alternative means of transport? The good new: this is possible, thanks to ToboWay!

ToboWay (TW) is a new means of urban transport designed to disrupt conventional thinking. It displaces conventional toboggans displayed in amusement parks to unconventional sites such as urban centres. It turns something exclusively fun into something inclusive and functional by accelerating urban displacements, cheering stressed citizens, and preserving financial and natural resources. Moreover, while toboggans have already been used in urban centres within marketing campaigns, they were used is small and temporary installations, not designed to be a sustainable means of transport.
