Mexico City is the home of 264 neighborhoods. Can you imagine if all of them compete together towards one common goal? Recycling! We know that only one in 20 citizens currently separates their waste and we want to change that with Trash Clash, a mobile app designed by two mexican kids worried about the future and the desire to have blue skies. Trash Clash will contribute in solving the waste problem in Mexico City by enhancing their citizens’ mindset on waste. Users will enroll in different and fun recycling challenges, from paper, cardboard, bottle-caps, aluminium, tetra-packs,pet and other materials, earning points and more than 300 badges that will help your community become the leader on the scoreboard, exchange your points for prizes, certificates and discounts. It only takes 30 days to form a habit, so we are confident that we can change our users lifestyle and behaviours towards recycling and recollecting,  having a huge positive impact on the whole city. Trash Clash won’t be your regular competitive app, it will also inform on how you can properly sort your garbage and give insights on how users and brands are helping the city. Neighborhoods will compete to become the cleanest in the city, but there are no boundaries on the air we breathe, so if we compete to have a clean, blue sky… everyone wins! With Trash clash, no battle in Mexico has ever been so clean.
