Modular Towable Mobile System planned for the collection of reusable waste, involving citizen, private, and public participation.

Long description

Its purpose is to generate environmental, social, and life quality benefits to our community and unprotected sectors, as well as to save energy and generate a culture of environmental care and consumption. It is a modular mobile system (locatable through an app) with a waste separation system in which the user deposits his garbage and by doing it correctly he obtains benefits in an electronic purse that can be exchanged in stores that have an agreement within the project. This system is transported by a bicycle to reduce the large amount of pollutants emitted by the traditional transport of the current waste collection system and to encourage the participation of the community within the business model. We designed not only an object, but also a service that involves different actors in the care of our environment and that also takes care of the revaluation of the work of the people who clean our streets. We propose a system whereby the mobility problems of the scavengers and garbage collectors, as well as those of separation of waste and its storage, are diminished. The recycled waste will be given to public or private sector so they can generate economical or in-kind benefits for the actors involved.
