My Desire is to provide consistent water supply & renewable energy for my village people back in the upcountry which will help save forests.

Long description

Having been born in the upcountry more than 28 years ago i do understand the challenges my village people go through during the dry seasons.They travel long distances to get water for home consumption and their animals.

The best way i could give back to my community is the reason i came up with a village Hill top water project that entails drilling a super borehole on the hill and building giant tanks with over 500 Thousand litre capacity to serve my village and other neighboring villagers. I will set up a solar panel that will help help pump water from the borehole to the tanks and then water will flow freely down the hills to the homesteads through pipes with nature’s free force of gravity. With efficient water flow i will help teach my people with the urban organic farming methods that will increase their food yields by utilizing small pieces of land to get higher returns . I also intend to install a pocket friendly Bio-gas system in each homestead which they will pay for in installments .I will use very readily available material like plastic containers and cow dung to install the bio-gas stem which will help reduce the use of fire wood which has made our forest cover to deteriorate .

Given sufficient funding i will do my best to ensure each and every house hold in my home village has a reliable, clean and safe water for use and bio-gas for cooking.
